Nov 28th, 1921 is the night of the ascension of Abdu’l-Baha, the son of the founder of the Baha’i Faith. Abdu’l-Baha spent over 40 years of His precious life in the prison of the Ottoman Empire and the Persian Government. The only defender He had was God and the only protector He had was God. Praying to the one and only Creator was His only refuge.
The chant you hear is one of His most beautiful Persian prayers in the style of masnavi.
I am dedicating this chant on behalf of the seven Yarn in the Evin Prison so they be remembered in the night of the ascension of Abdu’l-Baha by all who remain awake to commemorate His passing and care about the human rights of the meek.
