Drawing the Circle of Unity

All children benefit from the recognition and practice of universal human rights. Through showing solidarity with those who have been stripped of their rights, we hope to raise awareness and draw the circle of unity by creating cards of hope, love, and harmony to be published online and sent to these children.

Questions? Please contact us at info@kidsidebyside.org.

We’re looking for sponsors, speakers, performers, and most importantly participation! Please join us, everyone is welcome.

The Event:
On Saturday, May 9, 2009, from 1p.m. to 4p.m., at Pomona College’s Walker Beach, we’ll be providing materials so everyone can draw pictures and write little notes to send to the Baha’i children in Iran. We will also be posting them here and on facebook to ensure their availability to the Baha’is in Iran. We also hope to have speakers, performances, (food) and informational pamphlets to get everyone up-to-date and involed.

    Dear Keyvan,
We have met at GreenAcre several times. I remember you mentioning this website. Have you posted any children’s pictures so far? If the junior youth in my community wanted to send you pictures, would you post them?

Dear Sharon, yes if you look under the cards on the blog, you will see the children’s picture. Also we have put the pictures from the Fire Tablet in a flipping format at the site. We have more pictures waiting to be posted and we appreciate pictures to be sent to us. Just scan them and send them or take picture of them one by one and send them. i also would love pictures of the kids while drawing the cards.
